Site Updates & Corrections

What changed on EveryFix, when, and why. Errors we find are fixed and listed here.

Calculators and guides are only useful if they stay correct. This page is a running record of the improvements and corrections we make. If you spot a mistake in a formula, an example or an explanation, please tell us through the contact page and we will review it and, if you are right, correct it and note the change here.

2026-10-28 — Every tool page, guide and category hub expanded

  • Every calculator, converter and generator page now has a full overview, use cases, step-by-step instructions, a guide to reading results, three additional worked examples, tips, common mistakes, stated assumptions, a glossary and extra FAQs.
  • Worked examples on calculator pages were re-run through the live calculators so that every number printed on the page matches what the tool returns.
  • The shorter how-to guides received new sections covering edge cases, extra worked examples and more questions answered.
  • Each category hub gained a decision guide for choosing between its tools, an end-to-end project walkthrough and more FAQs.

2026-10-12 — New guides and calculator corrections

  • Added 15 new guides, bringing the library to 51: water intake, calorie deficit, the 50/30/20 budget rule, markup versus margin, break-even point, sales tax and discounts, MPG and fuel cost, tire sizes, EV charging cost, gravel, bricks, temperature conversion, tipping and splitting a bill, savings growth, freelance rates, body fat, due dates, ideal weight, tile, sod and seed, raised-bed soil, stair risers, insulation, deck boards, strong passwords, age and date math, and metric-imperial conversion.
  • Fixed a daylight-saving-time error that could shift the Pregnancy Due Date Calculator by a day for some dates and time zones.
  • Fixed the Age Calculator and Date Difference Calculator so month and day breakdowns never go negative, and day counts are no longer affected by clock changes.
  • Corrected the density of gravel used by the gravel and driveway calculators to 1.66 tonnes per cubic meter.
  • Replaced a citation in the profit margin guide with a working SBA pricing worksheet link.
  • Added structured data, canonical URLs and social preview images across the site.

How we maintain the site

Tax brackets, unit definitions and other figures that change over time are reviewed at least once a year. Calculators are tested against known values whenever their code changes, and the examples on each page are regenerated from the live calculators so that the text cannot drift away from the tool. New guides are added regularly, starting with the topics people most often ask about.
